Killer Instinct reboot is free-to-play, only one character is free

Killer Instinct is getting a reboot on Xbox One, courtesy of Double Helix Games . Good news: it’s free-to-play. Potential bad news: you have to pay for every character, except Jago.

What?!?! Does that mean the Killer Instinct that is part of the "Day One" thingy is crippled, beyond playble, (is it a demo?) without buying characters beyond Jago? Lame if true - it is a demo well then that sucks too.

I can foresee a bunch of Jago vs. Jago fights at lots of houses.

And then they'll get over the novelty and move on to better games.
